Jin Shah celebrated a shorter-than-expected prison sentence for wire fraud with a stunning dinner party in New York City, Page Six has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, who learned of her fate in federal court Friday morning, had dinner with a group of 20 at Italian hotspot Valbella in Park in Midtown later that night.
Page Six was told that the convicted fraudster and her people spent the night “eating and drinking” on the establishment’s second floor.
“She had two people standing around her table to stop anyone from taking photos,” our source leaked.
It is not clear if it was her husband, Sharif Shah, or her co-stars.
When contacted for comment, a Valbella spokesperson told Page Six that the venue does not provide customer information.
However, the “RHOSLC” star, 49, was caught by our photographers exiting the restaurant with her security guard.
Our insider says she stood in the doorway, trying to figure out “how to leave without being photographed.”
Jen’s reps did not immediately respond to our inquiry.
Hours earlier, a mother of two — who was facing a maximum of 14 years behind bars — was sentenced to six and a half years in federal prison for allegedly running a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted thousands of people, most of them seniors.
After the hearing, Bravolebrity issued an apology to the victims as well as to her family.
“I am so, so deeply sorry,” she said, sobbing as she looked at Sharif and their sons, Sharif Jr. and Omar.
Jane admitted that she “goes against” her core values of “humility, loyalty, and respect” before admitting that her actions “hurt innocent people.”
It is scheduled to surrender on February 17th.
The reality star was arrested in March 2021 when the cameras started rolling on the second season of “RHOSLC.” Although she initially pleaded not guilty, in July 2022 she changed her plea.
